2025 Hajj: NAHCON Announces Fare Exceeding N8 Million

Nigeria’s National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) has declared that, depending on their region, Nigerians planning to make the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2025 will have to pay fees ranging from N8.3 million to N8.7 million.
The Southern States will pay N8.7 million, while the Borno and Adamawa Zone will pay N8.3 million, according to a statement released by NAHCON on Monday.
The Hajj fare was the outcome of extensive cooperation with all pertinent players, according to Prof. Abdullahi Usman, Executive Chairman of NAHCON.
On Monday in Abuja, Usman made this claim in a statement made by Mrs. Fatima Usara, the organization’s assistant director of information and publications.
The Northern Zone pilgrims who plan to make the Hajj pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2025 will have to pay N8.4 million, Usman added.
He conveyed his appreciation to the Forum of Executive Secretaries of State Pilgrims Welfare Boards, Agencies, and Commissions as well as the Presidency for their encouragement.

According to him: “The 2025 hajj fare is proudly announced by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), led by Prof. Abdullahi Usman, who serves as its chairman.
The Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Office of the Vice President gave its consent before the fare was made public.
For travelers from Borno and Adamawa, the 2025 Hajj ticket is N8.33 million.
Likewise, the price of the 2025 Hajj is N8.78 million for those from the Southern states who plan to perform it, and N8.46 million for those from the Northern zone.
He stated the NAHCON leadership tried their best to keep the hajj fare within the same range as before, working with the Presidency’s delegate, Malam Ameen Amshi, Special Assistant to the President, Special Duties.
In order to guarantee inclusivity in this crucial decision-making process, prolonged conversations led to this modest effort on the fare.
