2027: I’m Ready to Die for the Truth – Senator Ali Ndume

In the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ali Ndume, who represents the Borno South Senatorial District, has demonstrated his everlasting dedication to expressing the truth and said he is willing to die for it.
During an appearance on Arise Television, the seasoned politician made it clear that his criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is motivated by a strong desire to see Nigeria embrace real change rather than personal enmity.
“I have 24 years of experience in my field, and I am 65 years old. Everything has been done for me by God. Right now, all I have to do is speak the truth and act morally, and I’m willing to die doing it,” Ndume said.
Ndume confirmed that he once had a close relationship with President Tinubu, despite rumors that the two were at odds.
“I would visit Tinubu’s bedroom at Lagos House and at Bourdillon. He’s familiar with me. The senator revealed, “He’ll say, ‘I hear you,’ if we meet casually.”
Ndume also responded to reports that he intends to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) and join the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) or a third-party coalition. He insinuated that he would reconsider his stance if the ruling party deviated too much from its path, but he denied any such desire.

For this reason, I shall not abandon ship. But I would better think about the tiny ship when the ship is overburdened with extraneous cargo and could capsize,” he remarked.
mounting APC conflicts and mounting criticism of Tinubu’s governance style coincide with Ndume’s comments. His audacious move has further stoked political debate in the run-up to the general elections in 2027.
