2027: Peter Obi Says He’s Part of Coalition to End Bad Governance, Addresses One-Term Deal with Atiku

According to Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, his participation in the alliance in the run-up to the 2027 elections is centered on the battle against poverty, hunger, and poor governing practices.
When asked if he had reached a one-term agreement with Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) 2023 presidential candidate, to become his vice president in the 2027 elections, Peter Obi made this clear.

According to a number of people who talked to Punch, Atiku and Obi discussed the idea earlier this year in a US meeting.
The sources revealed that Obi has consented to be the former vice president’s running partner, and Atiku has pledged to serve a single four-year term.

After reaching a consensus, Atiku and Obi are currently consulting their supporters, according to a party chieftain.

Speaking at a function in Kubwa on Monday to make a donation to an Anglican Church-organized school and hospital project, Peter Obi, however, did not confirm or deny making a deal with Atiku.

“I am committed to the coalition’s mission,” Peter Obi said.

You are free to interpret the study as you see fit, but I am part of a coalition that fights poverty, hunger, and poor governance.
