Otudeko’s Counsel Denies Alleged N12.3bn Fraud in Court

Oba Otudeko, the attorney for the Honeywell Group Chairman, who is accused of committing a N12.3 billion scam, protested the accusation on Monday by appearing before a Federal High Court in Lagos.
Otudeko having not received the charge, and two other people were also charged, Mr. Bode Olanipekun (SAN) informed the court that he was objecting.

Olanipekun serves as the three defendants’ council.
Otudeko was charged with 13 counts by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), together with Olabisi Onasanya, a former managing director of First Bank Plc, and Soji Akintayo, a former board member of Honeywell.
They were charged with the same offense as Anchorage Leisure Ltd.
According to the EFCC, the accused received the money through deceptive means.
