Please Help Me’ – Afenifere Youth Leader Appeals as Kidnappers Demand ₦100M Ransom

If the ₦100 million ransom is not paid by 3 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025, the kidnappers of Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, have threatened to kill him.
According to reports, Ojajuni made this clear in a video that went viral online while frantically appealing for assistance from Nigerians.
In the video, Ojajuni is seen pleading with the public for financial support to achieve his release while brandishing an AK-47 at his chest.
“Nigerians, please help me!” he said. In the video, he begged, “Your donation—N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life.” Prince Eniola Ojajuni is my name. May you be blessed. Please help me share this video, Aderohunmu.

In a statement issued by its National Secretary, Abiodun Aderohunmu, the Afenifere group revealed that Ojajuni had been kidnapped on Monday, February 17, 2025.
Prince Ojajuni was shot in the buttock during the kidnapping, according to Aderohunmu, who also stated that the abductors sought a ₦100 million ransom.

“The Afenifere National Youths Council is extremely saddened to announce that Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, its National President, was kidnapped in Abuja, Nigeria,” he said.
“A ransom of N100,000,000 has been demanded by the kidnappers for the unfortunate incident that happened on Monday.”
