According to Sunday Ogini, the former chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Ogun State, Rabiu Kwankwaso did not provide the money he gathered for the party in the 2023 election.
According to reports, Ogini said that Kwankwaso, the party’s former presidential candidate, was to blame for the political crisis within the organization.
The former Kano State Governor was charged by the NNPP Chieftain in an interview with News Central on Monday of giving preference to his Kwankwasiyya tribe while ignoring other state residents.
Kwankwaso is extremely corrupt, according to the former chairman of the Ogun NNPP. He doubted his ability to be a good president of Nigeria.
In his own words: “He moved all election materials, including the situation rule, onto his Maitama home and collected all the funds intended for the nomination forms.” He was doing extra subtraction at Maitama’s house, writing down the names of people he liked and those he didn’t like in the party, then throwing them away to ensure that only Kwankwasiyya members were running for elected office or becoming governors of state or representatives.

Even before the general election in 2023, Kwankwaso and his group had already committed some of these horrible acts. He failed to submit all of the funds he had raised, donations, and other materials for the 2023 election campaign, as well as any audit reports. For that reason, the party suggested that we write to the EFCC. I personally signed the letter, and we hauled him there so he could respond to our inquiries.
“This man, who is extremely crooked, is telling Nigeria that he wants to be the country’s president instead of going there to answer questions. He fled from the EFCC and sought protection in a Kano court. In order to protect him, the Kano State High Court decided not to look into that.
