For the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has moved the exam date from April 5 to April 10.
The board’s weekly bulletin, which press reporters in Abuja may access on Monday, contains this information.
As per the bulletin, the modification was made to guarantee that all required preparations were finished, integrating a range of innovations and improvements intended to make the test one of the greatest in history.
It stated that the additional number of testing locations for the exercise was another reason for the postponing.
The Mock UTME, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, will now take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, with the main UTME beginning on April 25, 2025.

In accordance with international best practices and current studies on examination techniques in our area, the board acknowledges the necessity of creative approaches to maximize the mock exercise’s intended function.
It stated, “Candidates are encouraged to keep checking back for the announcement regarding the printing of their Mock Notification Slip, which will include information about the location of their testing location.” (Nan)
