Tragedy Strikes: 9-Year-Old Killed, Another Injured in Kebbi Wedding Shooting

Al’amin Garba, a nine-year-old child, was killed after a man identified as Muhammad Sani opened fire on attendees at a wedding ceremony in Kebbi State.
Another youngster, seven-year-old Bello Shehu, was claimed to have been injured during the incident.
The event was claimed to have occurred in Koko/Besse Local Government Area, Kebbi State.

Garba died quickly as a result of a gunshot wound to the head, while Shehu suffered serious rib injuries.
He has been admitted to a local medical institution, and the shooter has been detained.
Bello Sani, the Commissioner of Police for Kebbi Command, denounced the incident.
He urged locals to surrender all firearms in their possession to the police for public safety.
He also demanded a thorough inquiry and speedy prosecution of the shooter.
