According to seasoned Nigerian singer Eedris Abdulkareem, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is full of hollow promises.
According to reports, in a new song called “Tell Your Papa,” Abdulkareem implored President Seyi Tinubu’s son to tell his father about the suffering of Nigerians.
Remember how in March, Seyi Tinubu, speaking to a group of young people in Adamawa State, called his father the best president in Nigerian history? That statement caused a stir on the internet.
But in his latest song, Abdulkareem attacked Seyi, emphasizing that the president’s son was indifferent to the struggles of Nigerians facing insecurity and economic hardship.

Seyi should tell his father about the recent wave of kidnappings in Nigeria and the many deaths caused by the country’s present economic policies, the musician stated.
“Seyi,” he said, “tell your papa country hard.” Let your papa know that people die. Tell your father, “Don’t pass jagajaga.”
How far, Seyi? I promise you, papa, don’t try. Too many vacuous promises. Please convey to him that Nigerians are killed by kidnappers on behalf of Nigerians.
