Galatasaray Set to Break Transfer Record for Victor Osimhen, Real Madrid Interested

In an effort to acquire Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on a permanent basis, Galatasaray is preparing to shatter their club’s transfer record.
After a possible transfer to Chelsea fell through, Victor Osimhen joined the Turkish powerhouses on loan from Napoli. Since arriving, he has made a big impact, tallying 28 goals and dishing out five assists in 32 games across all competitions.
As a key player in Galatasaray’s quest to win the domestic cup and keep their Turkish Super Lig title, Osimhen has won over supporters in no time. Their current goal is to extend his stay in Istanbul past the next summer transfer window.
Galatasaray, however, will have fierce competition from elite European teams interested in signing the 26-year-old Nigerian striker, such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and even Saudi Arabian teams.

Galatasaray is willing to offer Napoli an astonishing €70 million transfer price in addition to a three-year contract that would pay Osimhen €15 million net every season with additional performance bonuses, according to reports from the Spanish publication AS via Cumhuriyet. He would rank among the Premier League’s greatest earners with this suggested compensation package.

Osimhen is apparently being considered by Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid as a possible replacement for Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior, who may be about to make a big move to Saudi Arabia. This adds to the rumors.

Discussions about changing the team’s attacking lineup have gotten more heated, particularly after Real Madrid’s shocking 3-0 loss to Arsenal in the Champions League quarterfinals. This is because Florentino Perez, the club’s president, is open to offers for Vinicius because he is worried about his compatibility with Kylian Mbappe.

According to estimates, Vinicius might land a five-year contract of €200 million a year, which would fetch an incredible €300 million from interested parties in the Saudi Pro League.

Real Madrid has identified Osimhen as their main target in order to increase their offensive alternatives should this trade go place.
