The Catholic Church’s leader, His Holiness Pope Francis, passed away, and I extend my sincere condolences to the Nigerian Catholic Church and the Christian community worldwide.

Pope Francis had a profound influence on many aspects of human life outside of the pulpit. Around the world, he promoted equality, justice, and peace. He never wavered from his faith or his mission to spread love, justice, and peace throughout the world, even throughout his difficult times.

He wished that his life of faith, devotion, and service to God would continue to inspire everyone as they considered the void left by his absence.
