Cybersecurity Expert Arrested in Nigeria Over Alleged Website Breach and IP Theft

The Police Cybercrime Unit in Nigeria has detained John Ebinyi Odey, the operator of Redhound Consulting (also known as Stodachon) and a former employee of Forward Edge Consulting Ltd.
Serious accusations against Odey, such as system meddling and intellectual property theft, have generated a great deal of worry and discussion among Nigeria’s legal and tech communities.
Odey, who is well-known for his contributions to the field of cybersecurity, especially offensive security, has been charged with stealing valuable digital assets and gaining illegal access to private networks.
