Biafra: Simon Ekpa’s Extradition to Nigeria Imminent – FG Witness Testifies

According to a prosecuting witness on Friday, Simon Ekpa, the self-declared prime minister of Biafra, will shortly be deported from Finland to Nigeria.
In favor of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, Ekpa will be extradited to stand prosecution, according to the federal government’s witness.
At the Federal High Court in Abuja, which was presided over by Justice James Omotosho, the witness—who was only named as “AAA” and a staff member of the Department of State Services, or DSS—made the revelation during cross-examination by Kanu’s lead attorney, Chief Kanu Agabi.
On October 15, 2015, the witness was a member of the squad that apprehended Kanu at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Lagos.

He said that Ekpa had previously been taken into custody and was presently being extradited for “inciting violence” and supporting IPOB.
When Kanu was arrested in 2015, the witness also attested that no guns or other violent devices were discovered in his hands.
Having proven that she had met the defendant on social media, he added that the woman discovered in Kanu’s hotel room was not regarded as a suspect.
The witness stated in her testimony that the woman was found not guilty.
After the trial, Justice Omotosho postponed it until May 6, 7, and 8, 2025.
On terrorism-related charges, the IPOB leader is currently on trial.
