The impeached Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa’s supporters flocked to the Ikeja Lodge on Saturday, January 25.
It was reported that lawmakers’ supporters were assembled to greet Obasa, who has not been in the United States since his impeachment.

The former Speaker is scheduled to arrive in Lagos today, and the supporters showed up in force, wearing caps and crested t-shirts.
While in the United States, the embattled Speaker was impeached by members of the Lagos House of Assemnly for alleged fraudulent acts.
A previous deputy speaker of the House named Mojisola Meranda took his post as Speaker right away.
