Tragedy as Final-Year Nursing Student Found Dead in Boyfriend’s Room

After Gifty Kyere, a final-year student, was discovered dead in her boyfriend’s room in Jinijini, Ghana’s Bono Region, tragedy has befallen Sunyani Nursing and Midwifery Training College.
A day before the incident, the 28-year-old student reportedly left home, saying she was going to get her personal belongings and school fees. She passed away unexpectedly, leaving her family and community in mourning.
When her father, Pastor Kyere Jonathan of the Agape Evangelical Church in Jinijini, found out that Gifty had left to see her boyfriend rather than coming home as she had promised, he was shocked.
Edmond Ayomah, 23, is the boyfriend who is currently on the loose. He has allegedly contacted people with the intention of turning himself in to the police, but he is still at large.

According to reports, Ayomah said he was unable to get Gifty to the hospital because she had died of an unexpected asthma attack. Authorities have questioned his explanation, though.
According to unverified claims, Gifty may have been forced to end a pregnancy, which investigators think may have contributed to her unexpected death.
As the cause of Gifty’s death remains a mystery, police have opened a thorough inquiry into the incident and are searching for Ayomah.
