In addition, a whole backroom staff has already been assembled for Alonso’s appointment, and the squad is reportedly coordinating plans for him to take over for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, where Real Madrid is expected to play as the Champions League winners.
To start at the FIFA Club World Cup, Alonso has a three-year contract with Real Madrid, staff sorted, and a contract in place, Romano continued.

The club’s most successful manager, Carlo Ancelotti, will go with honor after leading the squad to multiple championships in his two tenures. It is anticipated that Alonso’s leadership would be smoothly assumed.

“Ancelotti farewell soon, then Xabi era” was Romano’s final statement in his report.
