APC Governors Endorse Tinubu’s Bold Policies, Pledge Continued Support

Governors chosen on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have reaffirmed their steadfast support for President Bola Tinubu’s ambitious reform initiatives in the face of severe economic hardship and growing popular dissatisfaction.
Imo State Governor and Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) Chairman Hope Uzodimma said that despite the initial outcry, Tinubu’s economic reforms are starting to receive respect both domestically and globally following a closed-door meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.
In order to assess the administration’s accomplishments, reinforce party unity, and map out a course for the future in support of Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria, APC governors, ministers, and party officials convened the meeting.
Opposition voices were particularly vocal in their criticism of the government’s reform initiatives at the start of this term. However, Uzodimma stated that the president was being vindicated today.
He clarified that respectable international organizations are now praising Tinubu’s economic initiatives, which had been heavily criticized at home. “International organizations like the World Bank and the IMF are praising the president,” he continued.
Uzodimma emphasized that the success of the APC is largely dependent on its unity and internal democracy. “All of the progressive governors produced this government. Regardless of their official status, everyone present is an APC member. We’ve gathered to congratulate Nigeria and ourselves on the latest events,” he said.

According to him, the forum’s major goal was to plan ways to help party members and citizens who stick with the party through tough times.
“It is our responsibility to assist this courageous individual who is dedicated to the advancement of Nigeria,” the governor said.
Speaking on the impending second anniversary of President Tinubu’s tenure, he said plans were in motion to celebrate and reflect on the milestone. “With full participation, the APC National Working Committee will soon unveil the anniversary programs and events,” he stated.
Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, characterized the meeting as a private-party consultation that was strategic in nature.
Idris stated, “This was a family gathering of APC governors, ministers, and members of the National Working Committee.”
As the government approaches the halfway point of its term, he emphasized that the meeting was a chance to assess its success. “We are happy with the progress that has been made thus far. “There’s a lot to show off,” he stated.
The minister stated that in order to better inform the public about the administration’s accomplishments and gather their input for future enhancements, the APC is stepping up its public engagement efforts.
“We want to work together to make sure Nigeria gets the prosperity that President Tinubu promised when he took office,” Idris continued. “Despite the obstacles, we are headed in the right direction, and Nigeria will prosper with God’s assistance.”
