Fani-Kayode Laments Killing of 35, Abduction of 223 in Zamfara

Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, has urged a prompt response to the rise in bandit and terrorist acts nationwide, especially in the northern area.
According to Fani-Kayode, there have been 223 bandit kidnappings and 35 fatalities in Zamfara State’s Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency.
According to reports, the former minister claimed that last Thursday, Aminu Sani Jaji, the representative for the constituency in the House of Representatives, gave him the figure.
Jaji, the chairman of the House Committee on Ecological Funds, revealed that terrorists and bandits attacked multiple villages and communities inside his area, according to Fani-Kayode.

“Can you image how many people in the state are going through the same thing if this many individuals are being slaughtered and kidnapped in a single Federal constituency in a matter of days? It’s unbelievable. Fan-Kayode remarked, “I feel terrible for the people of Zamfara.
He urged for the complete defeat of the militants while applauding the security authorities’ efforts to address regional insecurity.
Support for the security agencies’ operations was also demanded by the former minister.
They are unable to succeed on their own, so we must aid them in any way we can. We have to work together on this,” he said.
