Ganduje Explains Why PDP Members Are Defecting to APC

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the primary opposition party, is “gasping for breath” as a result of the ruling party’s performance and political savvy, according to Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ganduje was certain that the APC would win the next Federal Capital Territory (FCT) election while speaking at the APC National Summit on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He suggested that the APC was well-prepared for the election campaign and ascribed this to the party’s political strategy and efficacy.
Ganduje also talked about the difficulties the PDP is currently facing, blaming internal strife and defections for its deteriorating standing.

He emphasized the importance of these defections, suggesting that the discontent with the PDP’s internal conflicts and leadership issues is reflected in the APC’s expanding membership base.
The head of the APC cited the party’s achievement in winning 22 of Nigeria’s 36 states as evidence of its political clout. In another evidence of the APC’s growing power, Ganduje disclosed that another governor was anticipated to join the party shortly.
Ganduje also discussed the APC’s future plans, pointing to the party’s triumph in the most recent off-cycle elections as a sign of things to come.
In order to position the party for additional victories in the general elections of 2027, he said, the APC was already getting ready for the future elections in Anambra State and other states.
