‘The Indices Cannot Lie’ – Yahaya Bello Speaks on Possible 2027 Election Contest Against Tinubu

Reports that Yahaya Bello, the immediate past governor of Kogi State, would run against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election have been denied.
According to the report, Ohiare Michael, the Director of the Yahaya Bello Media Office, said in a statement released on Friday that the campaign poster in circulation was the product of malicious individuals who were determined to overthrow the former governor at all costs.
Clarifying that he has no aspirations to become president, Yahaya Bello reiterated his unwavering dedication to Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.

Despite the global issues, he says the President has done a remarkable job for Nigeria.

“Our attention has been drawn to another senseless post by mischief makers, who have no other job than to fabricate falsehood and disseminate it to mislead unsuspecting Nigerians,” said the statement.

Their “bring him down at all costs” campaign against His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the immediate former governor of Kogi State, has been a colossal failure every time.

Detractors and their fellow travelers have previously spread outright lies to incite the former governor to oppose our president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Insanity is implied by the recent trend of publishing a 2022 rally and implying that it is simply taking place.

It is important for Nigerians to be cautious of naive bloggers who fabricate articles to appease their similarly naive paymasters.

In their last-ditch effort to fabricate a crisis where none exists, they failed to notice the 2022 dates prominently displayed on the banners. They do, however, expect rational people to not perceive this as the product of irate critics.

Our Principal, His Excellency former Governor Yahaya Bello, has made it clear that he has no intention of running for president in 2027, but we also wish to emphasize his unwavering devotion to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection in that year.

“Indexes cannot be deceiving. Notwithstanding international difficulties, the President and his team have performed remarkably well for the nation. Well-meaning Nigerians should support him on the basis of merit.

“Nigerians should disregard the mischievous post insinuating a fresh presidential support rally as what it is – a senseless post by a confused, witless mind.”
