Tacha Slams Pastor Adefarasin: ‘Social Media Would Explode If It Were Wike or Tinubu’s Son’

Paul Adefarasin, a Nigerian priest, has come under fire from former Big Brother Naija Housemate Natasha Akinde, also known as Tacha, for calling the content producer who produced the contentious video of him driving around Lagos “aggressive.”
Speaking during a Sunday sermon that was live-streamed on the church’s official YouTube channel, Adefarasin reportedly called the accusations of gun ownership untrue, cruel, and the result of “clickbaiters just looking for money.”

According to the cleric, who has never owned, licensed, or pointed a firearm at anyone, the accusation “shook him deeply and was nothing short of an attack on his character.”
He added that the material producer was “aggressive” for entering his personal space and that the episode in issue occurred on a Saturday, which he usually observes as a Sabbath.

Tacha called Adefarasin’s remark “gaslighting” in a post via 𝕏, pointing out that while many Nigerian pastors frequently display such views within their country, they seldom ever try to do the same outside of it.

She further contended that a portion of Nigeria’s 𝕏 space would have been on fire if the controversy had implicated the sons of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike or President Seyi Tinubu.
