We Know Abure’s Backers, Their Goal Is to Destabilize Labour Party – Ndubuaku

According to Prof. Theophilus Ndubuaku, the Deputy President of the Nigeria Labour Congress Political Commission, some individuals are funding the Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party in an effort to undermine the party.
In an interview on Monday, he made the claim while discussing the crisis engulfing the Labour Party and the reasons behind the Nigeria Labour Congress’s (NLC) refusal to acknowledge Abure as the party’s National Chairman.
Ndubuaku argued that the truth will eventually come to light and that Abure is merely operating a propaganda apparatus.

“The individuals behind Abure are known to us. As I speak to you, I’m not sure if you realize that the Inspector General of Police has indicted Abure. Do you know? In the interview, he said.
According to Professor Ndubuaku, Abure has not been charged in court despite the current indictment against him. Additionally, he claimed that Abure falsified court records.

Indeed. No one has vacated it. He is never brought to court. To that aim, an official indictment letter was drafted. But they declined to bring charges against him. The same Abure who falsified court records is at issue here. We’re keeping an eye on the court’s decisions and its attempts to impose its will on the Labour Party. “The only governor in his party has rejected this man,” he continued.

During the interview, Ndubuaku argued that Abure’s stance is not supported by the recent Appeal Court decision regarding the Labour Party leadership.

Before bringing the case before the Supreme Court, he continued, the attorneys are reviewing the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the ruling.

He asserts that the Labour Party differs from other political parties in the nation because it was established and is owned by workers.

He declared, “Anything can be distorted by Abure’s propaganda apparatus.” The first question you should ask yourself if you are considering going to the Supreme Court is: What is the ruling? You must view the ruling you intend to present to the Supreme Court. The Appeal Court claims that the matter of LP leadership in the lower courts was only an academic exercise, which implies that it shouldn’t have been there in the first place based on their own arguments.

That indicates that there is no problem with Abure’s leadership of the LP in that ruling. Therefore, we merely waited to see and examine the CTC before acting.

Additionally, they stated that the court had no jurisdiction over nor any interest in a party’s leadership decision. Therefore, the Appeal Court itself should not have any business with the leadership of a party if it declares that a lower court has no business with them. Therefore, they are unable to rule on a matter that they claim a lower court has no jurisdiction over.

The issue now returns to the consent decision that is still in effect, which is an unchallengeable ruling. Since it is a consent judgment, it has not been vacated and cannot be. Abure entered into and signed it; he did not inherit it.

We therefore know that there is a limit to the extent to which one may try to destroy or succeed in destroying a party, particularly if that party is affiliated with an institution, and that Abure is being supported by those who wish to undermine the Labour Party. You might not know who owns or founded it after they pass away because this is not a party that a group of individuals gathered together to start. This party differs from others in that institutional membership is required. The owners of this party are permanent members of the party’s organs rather than individual members.
