“This is the first time a sitting president has visited a satellite town to establish a connection with the people there and to let them know that we will take care of them just as we do in the city,” he added.
“You came here today, and on Friday you will be in Gwagwalada. Mr. President was personally in Kwali.”
The president was represented by the speaker last Friday when the Kabusa-Ketti road was put into service. This has never occurred before, and it demonstrates your affection for the people of the satellite town.
The president’s commitment to commissioning projects in rural areas was also praised by the minister.
“When we wanted to begin this, I met with Mr. President to say that it would be more appreciated if you could schedule a visit to the rural area. Mr. President said that we would not only come once, but also one, two, and three times, and you have fulfilled that,” he continued.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude; you have gone above and beyond; this Friday will mark the fourth time.”
