Tokunbo Idowu, also known as TBoss, a former housemate of Big Brother Naija, has demanded that rapists and peadophiles in the nation face severe penalties.
The reality TV personality reportedly made the plea in response to the Italian government, led by Giorgia Meloni, legalizing chemical castration as a treatment for serious sexual offenders.
The establishment of a committee to create legislation on the use of androgen-blocking medications to strictly target such offenders was approved by the MPs in September.
The BBNaija Star claimed in an Instagram post that the Nigerian government ought to impose comparable penalties on rapists and child abusers.
“Agreed,” she wrote. Nigeria ought to be next.
