Buhari Haunted My Family – Seun Kuti Says Fela Awaits Him in Afterlife

The passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari has prompted a response from Afrobeats musician Seun Kuti.
According to Kuti, his family suffered more than any other family in Nigeria as a result of the late leader.
Seun, the youngest son of Fela Kuti, the Afrobeat icon, made this revelation in a video posted to his Instagram page.

When Buhari was the military Head of State, he recalled how his father and his uncles, Beko and Koye, were supposedly mistreated.

“I regret that the men I looked up to passed away long before Buhari, and I do not see the death of the former president as justice,” he said.

Although the singer cannot bring his loved ones back, he finds some solace in the idea that they might band together against Buhari in the hereafter.

“No one Buhari has hurt and offended as much as my family. Although Buhari dealt with my family, his passing does not represent any kind of justice or triumph for us.

The only thing I regret is that my father, Fela, and my uncles, Koye and Beko, all passed away before him; they were all excellent individuals. The singer stated, “If there is such a thing, the only comfort I can find in his passing is that the three of them will band together against him in the afterlife.”
