Fayose Welcomes Opportunity for Obi’s Return to PDP After Atiku’s Exit

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose’s brother, Isaac Fayose, has responded to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s departure from the PDP.
According to a video posted on his Instagram page, Fayose said that the party was extremely relieved that Atiku had left.
For years, he claimed, he had personally wanted to see the former presidential candidate barred from the PDP.
For the third time in 20 years, Atiku left the party, which he ridiculed as a blatant indication of despair.

He urged the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to think about rejoining the PDP.
Fayose stated that in order for a formidable candidate to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming election, the party ought to allocate its 2027 presidential ticket to the South.

You can therefore permit the party to act as legitimate opposition. Hopefully, Obi can return. Let the PDP zone their ticket to the south so that in 2027 there is a candidate to challenge Tinubu.
