Azeez Falolu Poised for Katsina United Comeback, Arsenal’s Louis Zecevic-John Signs Pro Deal

According to reports, Azeez Falolu is almost ready to rejoin Katsina United, the team he left earlier in the 2024–2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season to play for Al-Nser ZSC of Libya.
Azeez Falolu has already agreed to terms with the Chanji Boys, according to people familiar with the matter, and is anticipated to sign a new contract after completing his medicals.
One of the NPFL’s most admired defenders, who declined rival bids from Rivers United and Shooting Stars to return to his old team, is making a homecoming with the transfer.
For Katsina United, who finished in 15th place last season and just avoided relegation, Falolu’s comeback is viewed as a huge boost. His ability to play defense could be crucial in bringing stability to a backline that had trouble staying consistent throughout the previous year.
Supporters are becoming more hopeful that Falolu’s return could signal the beginning of a more stable season for the northern team, even though the club has not yet released an official statement.
As part of their preparations for the 2025–2026 NPFL season, Katsina United has begun a week-long screening exercise at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.
Under the close supervision of the club’s technical staff, 41 prospective players demonstrated their abilities during the open tryouts, which got underway on Thursday.
As Katsina United looks to improve their developing pipeline, club officials announced that the chosen players from the exercise will be sent to different divisions, including as the Junior Team, U-20, and U-23 squads.
As preparations for the new season heat up, the club returned to full training earlier this week, with last season’s retained players already in camp.

The youthful star “needs to fulfil his potential” as he continues to grow under Mikel Arteta, the club announced on their website on Friday.

“Welcome Lorenzo,” tweeted Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, welcoming the striker. According to reports, the deal is valued about €35 million.
At the Dimaro-Folgarida training camp, Lucca has already joined Antonio Conte’s team.
