In an attempt to turn state-owned football teams around, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa established the Ondo State Football Agency’s management committee.
Members of the committee include well-known individuals with a range of sports management specialties.
They will work directly with the governor’s office to provide efficient oversight.
The committee’s members are Segun Joseph, Divine Ogbonnaya, General Manager; Awosakin Iluyomade, Representative of the Football Association; Iyabo Ajanaku; and Marketing Consultant Dapo Ajibade.

According to a statement made by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor’s chief press secretary, Governor Aiyedatiwa charged the committee with overseeing the operations of the Sunshine Stars Under-19, Sunshine Queens Football Club, and Sunshine Stars Football Club.
Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Queens will return to the country’s top leagues as soon as possible, thanks to Aiyedatiwa’s earlier pledge to take the required steps.
As a result, he gave the new management team the mission to thoroughly examine the football teams’ difficulties and turn around their declining trend.
