Christian Leaders Unite to Support CCYF’s Vision for Protecting Faith and Youth

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Ecclesiastical Affairs (NSCEA) has officially recognized the Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) as a legitimate and strategic force in defending the Christian faith, denominations, and the future of Christian youths in Nigeria.

In a letter of attestation dated July 25, 2025, and signed by its Secretary, Bishop Prof. Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies, the Council said the recognition followed “a series of consultations with esteemed Christian Leaders and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).” It concluded that “the CCYF is a vital force in our collective quest to protect our Faith, our Denominations, and our Future.”

According to the NSCEA, “It is with great pride that we stand in solidarity with you as you embark on this noble mission to protect our Faith, our Denominations and the future generations of our Christian youths.”

The letter described the moment as historic, declaring: “Let this day mark the dawn of a new era, where the indomitable Spirit of our Youths is unleashed in service of our common purpose in the Christendom.”

Bishop Adesanya-Davies closed with a prayer of blessing, writing: “More grace to you in Jesus mighty name, amen. Thank you!”

The NSCEA’s recognition is seen as a major endorsement from one of the country’s foremost ecclesiastical bodies, aligning the CCYF with the broader vision of Christian unity and faith preservation.
