ADC: ‘Have I Ever Failed To Get The Ticket?’ – Atiku Signals He’s Not Backing Down For Peter Obi, Amaechi

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has sparked new political discussions by implying that he would run for president in 2027 and promising to make a formal announcement “in due course.”
According to a widely circulated viral post on his 𝕏 handle, Atiku made the remarks during a brief conversation with media.
“We will let you know,” the 77-year-old politician, who has been a presidential candidate since 1993, said confidently when asked about his plans for the 2027 contest and when he would formally declare his candidacy. We will make an official announcement to you.
“Have I ever failed to get the ticket? What would happen if I didn’t get the 2027 presidential ticket?” Atiku was asked. I have confidence.

Atiku defended democracy by saying that everyone has an equal opportunity to run for office in response to requests for younger people to oversee the nation.
Let the young people compete today. We have democracy,” he declared.
Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers State and a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has indicated interest in running for president in 2027. Naija News understands that Atiku might run on the ADC’s platform.
The coalition member Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has also persisted on running in the upcoming election.
This demonstrates that the former vice president is not prepared to resign for any candidate running under the coalition, especially in light of Atiku’s most recent attempt to secure the party ticket.
