Adebayo Salami Breaks Silence on Sexual Advances From Actresses for Movie Roles
Veteran actor Adebayo Salami, better known by her stage name Oga Bello, has acknowledged that there are actresses in the film industry who sell sex in exchange for roles.
But according to reports, the film producer claimed that because of his rigorous discipline, he has never been a victim of it.
During an interview, the 71-year-old movie icon stated that he establishes clear limits and has never permitted any actress to approach him with such proposals.
His work ethic and morals, he explained, make it difficult for anyone to try such with him.
“I will not allow you to get close to me. I have never seen such a person. However, I am aware that it occurs in this generation,” he remarked.

Salami noted that he is conscious of the increasing lack of discipline among today’s actors and directors, having begun acting in 1964 at the age of 12.
He noted that in his early years in the field, certain behaviors that are now commonplace—like being late and making weak excuses—were never accepted.
“Our discipline is very different from this,” he remarked. Some excuses are untenable in our line of work.
I’d advise leaving my set even if you’re playing the lead.
“As a disciplined producer and director, I will not even give you the opportunity to meet with me or discuss it with me.”
