APC Advises Ighodalo: Drop Appeal, Okpebholo Can Make You SA or PA

Asue Ighodalo has been persuaded by the South-South Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) not to challenge the decision that upheld Governor Monday Okpebholo’s victory.
According to reports, Blessing Agbomhere, the APC South-South Zonal Organising Secretary, stated that any appeal of the tribunal’s decision on Wednesday would be a waste of money.
Agbomhere made the argument in an interview with Arise News on Thursday that the PDP and its candidate could not show their case in the court of evidence, thus they could not prove it in any appeal, not even to the Supreme Court.
As you can see, many people in Edo State and around the nation are celebrating the APC’s victory in Edo State as well as the victory of Edo State’s executive governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo. Since this is the court of instance, we would like to bluntly warn Godwin Obaseki and Asue Ighodalo not to waste their time appealing this decision. The court of evidence is also the court of instance. And once more, they are all aware that they were unable to present evidence to back up their claims in this particular court.
Therefore, I believe that it would be a waste of their time and money to move to the Appeal and the Supreme Court. Additionally, if they have an abundance of these resources at their disposal, they can use them to improve the lives of the Edo people. Therefore, there is no need to file an appeal. What has occurred has occurred. They need to move on, in my opinion. And the Edo people won’t let that happen, therefore they don’t need to show their desperate attempts to take over the Edo State government any more,” he stated.
God sent Okpebholo to the Edo people.
Governor Okpebholo was already providing Edo State’s citizens with good government, according to the APC South-South Zone Secretary.
He said that having Okpebholo as the state’s governor was a blessing for the people of Edo.
Additionally, Senator Monday Okpebholo has already begun running the state as we speak. As of right now, the Edo people are so happy that God appointed Senator Monday Okpebholo as their governor since he is doing so well for them.
Thus far, he has demonstrated that he is a man who respects the rule of law. He is a man who thinks that excellent governance is important. And he is accomplishing it through his current position of leadership in the state. “If you visit Edo State today, you can see what is happening in the education sector to the extent that Bola Tinubu, the president of the Nigerian federal government, had to commend the efforts made thus far in the Edo State educational system,” he said.
Asue SA or PA can be made by Okpebholo. Ighodalo was informed by Councillor Agbomhere that the Governor was willing to accept him into his administration so he could serve the state.

He went on to say that Okpebholo might appoint the former PDP candidate for governor as a personal assistant or special adviser on the economy. In order to help the state, he also recommended that he be appointed a councilor.
“So, in my opinion, Asue shouldn’t waste his time,” he added. Instead, based on my interactions with the governor on multiple occasions, he is willing to invite Asue to share his knowledge and insights with the people of Edo State if he genuinely wants to do so.
Additionally, I think that as the state’s governor, you shouldn’t participate. If you choose to serve, you can serve regardless of the position. Asue might be the governor of Edo State’s economic advisor. He is capable of being a PA. He is capable of serving in a variety of roles. He is even eligible to be a senator. He is qualified to be a council member. if serving the Edo people is indeed what he desires. He can’t be governor, then.
After considering the merits and weight of their case, the court of instance has now rendered a decision in favor of the APC and the governor of Edo. The greatest way, in my opinion, to demonstrate his patriotism and demonstrate that Asue genuinely wishes to serve Edo is to collaborate with his brother, the state’s current governor, to advance the state for the benefit of all Edo citizens.
