APC Unshaken by Opposition Ahead of 2027 Elections – Gov Uzodimma

No opposition or gatherings of opposition leaders would instill terror in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), according to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma.
The Progressives Governors Forum Chairman, Governor Uzodimma, reportedly stated that Nigerians alone would determine the winner of the 2027 election.
At the APC Governors Chairman’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, the National Working Committee (NWC) inked a contract with Tunmef Global Limited to start the party’s digital membership registration process.
He underlined that democracy’s beauty is still up for debate and that the APC was prepared for it.
“What the opposition says does not scare us. Organizing our party to be respected globally is our responsibility.
“The APC was not founded on a basis that anticipates no competition, and we are anticipating elections. No democracy exists in the world without competition. It will be decided by Nigerians,” he stated.
Speaking at the event, APC National Chairman Umar Ganduje stated that the digital registration initiative would assist the party in keeping track of its members and resolving issues with membership lists in court.
“We are merely skirting the issue without this kind of documentation. However, this activity guarantees that we will have scientific data that we may utilize at any time. It can be difficult to prove your position in court when you search for a membership list during litigation and find one that is contentious. “We can easily retrieve our data as it is with e-registration,” he remarked.
Ganduje expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for approving the digital registration.
We are a party that is always creating history. For authorizing our digital transition, I would like to congratulate Mr. President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Although this initiative was created many years ago, it has just recently been implemented, he said.

During the implementation phase, he pushed state party chairman and governors to support the project business and the exercise.
“As state chairmen and governors, you are the only ones who can carry out this project.
“I am pleased that you have come to view the information and sign the contract. We need your complete cooperation in order to obtain all of our data,” he continued.
