‘APC Will Reclaim Kano Mandate Before 1 PM in 2027’ – Doguwa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) will regain its mandate in the 2027 election, according to Alhassan Ado Doguwa, chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream).
Recall that in order to take over the current role, APC candidate Nasiru Gawuna and incumbent governor Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) fought each other in court and during the 2023 election.
Speaking on Sunday in Kano at an empowerment event hosted by Senate Deputy President Barau Jibrin, Doguwa said he was confident in the APC’s unity in the state, saying it will help the party regain power.
Dogwu predicts that on election day in 2027, the NNPP will lose Kano before 1 p.m.
“With God’s grace, we will regain our mandate in Kano before 1 p.m. on election day in 2027, thanks to the unity in our party now,” he stated. We shall beat the NNPP.
In order to support party mobilization efforts, Jibril also gave 1,136 motorbikes and 61 automobiles to grassroots All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Kano State during the ceremony.
Jibril said at the ceremony that the automobiles would be given to the local government and party zonal chairman, while the motorbikes were for the ward chairmen.
He also revealed intentions to provide a ₦5 million loan to university graduates so they can launch small companies.
