BBNaija Star Uriel Offers to Take in Abandoned Baby in Kogi

Uriel Oputa, a former Big Brother Naija contestant, has offered to adopt a newborn that was left on the Kogi State riverbank.
Omera Ugbede Opaluwa, a resident of Kogi State’s Ajaokuta neighborhood, shared a video of a baby girl they said was discovered sobbing next to the Niger Bridge by a local official.
Along with other objects, the leader reported finding a wrapper and some baby clothes at the location.
He also said that the community would take care of the infant until the mother could be identified and alert the local government authorities.
When the video was posted on a site, Uriel responded by offering to adopt the youngster in the comments area.
“Please let me have her,” she wrote, promising to provide the infant the best care possible if we were permitted to adopt her. She’ll never be hungry.

To start the adoption procedure, it is unclear if the reality star has gotten in touch with the appropriate authorities.
Notably, Uriel talked candidly about her four-year battle with amenorrhea in 2023.
During the reproductive years, between puberty and menopause, the absence of menstruation is known medically as amenorrhea.
Doctors had warned her that she might never be able to conceive, the 36-year-old singer said, calling the health issue “the lowest point” of her life.
