BREAKING: PDP Relocates Meeting After Police Seal Secretariat, Block BoT Members

The location of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting has been changed.
According to Naija News, security personnel prevented members of the PDP’s Board of Technology from convening a planned meeting on Monday, causing increased tension at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
A strong security presence interrupted the meeting, which was supposed to take place in the NEC Hall of the PDP’s Wadata Plaza offices in Wuse Zone 5.

According to reports, uniformed officials evicted people who were already inside and blocked off the property.

A senior officer was heard giving his soldiers severe orders, telling them that no kind of gathering should take place inside the premises, according to Daily Trust.
The meeting, which was originally planned to take place at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja at 10 am, has been rescheduled to the Yar’Adua Centre in the central business district of Abuja, the opposition party revealed in a brief message posted on its official 𝕏 Twitter.

The text of the statement is, “Excellent News! The location of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting has changed. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting, @OfficialPDPNig, has been rescheduled from its original location at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja by 10 a.m. to the Yar’Adua Center in the Central Business District of Abuja.

“With this notice, it is recommended that all BOT members move to the new location.”
