Charly Boy Slams Orji Kalu Over Outfit Endorsing Tinubu: You Have Taken Sycophancy To Another Level

The senator from Abia North, Orji Kalu, has come under fire from entertainer and social media star Charles Oputa, better known online as Charly Boy, for his group’s support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
According to reports, Kalu wore an attire with the words “Tinubu for President 2027” on it when he attended Tuesday’s senate session.
In an interview with reporters at the National Assembly, Kalu called his outfit a “open endorsement” of President Bola Tinubu’s continuation in office.

“Can you see what I’m wearing?” he asked. You can tell what kind of outfit I’m wearing if you look at it.

This is the president’s endorsement. The Southeast Caucus is totally in favor of that, and my clothing is made to fit it nicely.
According to the senator, several people have already adopted the campaign attire.

“I’m not the first person wearing it; people are already wearing it,” Kalu stated.

Charly Boy, who posted a photo of Kalu on Instagram, called the lawmaker a clown. The member had elevated sycophancy to a new level, he said.

He wrote: “Look at this clown. It’s a Tufiakwa issue; some of them my yeye worthless Igbo brethren have elevated sycophancy to a new level. Fathers of Dia. There are criminals around. Could someone please respond to me?
