Coalition: Okonkwo Meets Lawal, Urges Nigerians to Unite Against APC

Kenneth Okonkwo, a former spokesperson for the Presidential Campaign Organization of Datti Ahmed and Peter Obi, has urged Nigerians to join the coalition against the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to reports, the former Nollywood star who is now a politician stated that in the 2027 election, President Bola Tinubu and the APC can only be defeated by a united opposition.
The previous leader of the Labour Party (LP) stated in an interview that without a combination, neither the LP nor the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could overthrow Tinubu in 2027.

Okonkwo claims that the APC is a group of professional criminals that are dedicated to ruining the country.

In 2023, the opposition erred by splitting itself. To win the presidential election in 2027, they will need to unite. The Association of Professional Criminals is known as the APC,” he stated.
After visiting former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal in Abuja on Thursday, he made the call on his 𝕏 account.

He revealed that the coalition move was the focus of his conversation with Lawal.

In order to protect the country from the APC’s misrule, he encouraged Nigerians to do their part.

“Coalition negotiations are ongoing. constructive dialogue with Babachir Lawal, one of the Coalition’s leaders. We are all responsible for creating a great Nigeria. In a place that God has blessed, we have no excuse for suffering any longer. Vote out the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is in power, and contribute your share to the march towards a great Nigeria. May God help us as we help ourselves,” he wrote.
