“It is hereby ordered that the respondent (Hon. Aliyu Bello), whether by himself, his agents, privies, supporters, or any person acting on his behalf, authority, or direction, is restrained from further parading himself, issuing statements, or acting in any manner whatsoever as a member or chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State,” portion of the court order stated.

For the duration of the hearing and decision on the substantive motion on notice, Hon. Bello is also prohibited from performing any duties or communicating in his capacity as APC chairman, including through the media.

The Registrar of the District Court duly signed and stamped the order on July 3, 2025, according to court sources.

The development coincides with the Nasarawa APC’s continuing internal strife, in which several groups are vying for legitimacy and control within the party hierarchy.
