Daddy Freeze: My Family And I Got Death Threats For Criticising Nigerian Pastors

Daddy Freeze, whose real name is Ifedayo Olarinde, is a well-known media personality who has claimed that he was threatened with death years ago for criticizing Nigerian pastors.
In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, co-host Daddy Freeze clarified that his family members were also threatened with death.
He added that others were inspired to demand accountability from clerics across the country by his vocal criticism of Nigerian pastors.
He claims that when my pastor attempted to patch things up between me and my ex-wife after my divorce, I told him I wasn’t interested. I was therefore forbidden from serving at church functions or sitting in the front row. Given that Jesus did not condemn the woman who had been married five times and was living with a sixth man she was not married to, I felt rejected. I only had one divorce, and I’m being treated like a murderer by my church. I therefore began reading scriptures in their original languages and stopped attending church. I began to delve more and more into the scriptures. Any pastor from Nigeria would make sense to you, but you can’t finish that work in a year. It’s not feasible.

If anyone has ever been persecuted by Nigerian pastors and their henchmen, it’s me. They referred to me in a negative manner. Members of my family received death threats against me. It was ten years ago. And it’s because of the work I did that people are coming to the church today.
