EFCC Arrests 59 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested 59 suspected online scammers in Abuja on Monday.
Dele Oyewale, the commission’s spokesperson, made this announcement in Abuja.

According to Oyewale, the suspects were captured by commission agents at Abacha Road in Nasarawa’s Mararaba axis.
He claimed that reliable information regarding their alleged involvement in fraudulent online activity led to their detention.
He stated that 73 phones of various brands had been found by the commission and that the accused will shortly face charges.
