Ex-SGF Olu Falae Named New Afenifere Chairman

Oba Olu Falae, the Olu of Ilu-Abo in the Akure North council area of Ondo State and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has been named chairman of the National Executive Committee of the Pan Yoruba sociopolitical organization Afenifere.
The group also emphasized the need for national restructuring and voiced concerns over insecurity, among other challenges plaguing the nation, after its monthly meeting at the home of its national head, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, in Akure.
Speaking to the media following the meeting, National Publicity Secretary Jare Ajayi said that Falae was appointed by Fasoranti, the group’s national leader.

Repositioning the organization is the goal of this appointment, Ajayi reiterated.
He said that the purpose of Oba Falae’s appointment is to revitalize the organization in order to guarantee that the House of Oduduwa is reoriented to support the Yoruba agenda.

Oba Falae, the new chairman, has held several significant positions, including that of Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). The meeting discussed a number of issues facing the country at the moment.

After putting these difficulties through a number of thorough interrogations, we have concluded that restructuring is the most effective way to address the problems.
