Sani: Nigerians Suffering Massively Under Tinubu’s Leadership

According to Yabagi Sani, National Chairman of the Action Development Party (ADP), President Bola Tinubu is causing Nigerians to endure the most severe economic suffering.

According to reports, Sani claimed that the President’s policies had caused the suffering of the populace to last too long.
Sani, the ADP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, said on Trust TV’s Sunday Politics that although Nigeria’s economy promises grandeur, bad management is hurting it.

“Nigeria’s economy holds out the promise of greatness, and I think we can do even better given the current situation. Indeed, the government made some choices that are considered necessary. However, Nigerians are not content today. They are living through what is known as hell because, although things weren’t good in Nigeria before to President Tinubu taking office, things have gotten worse since then.

“I know you have to endure hardships before you can enjoy them, but don’t allow them to last too long because then no one will be around to enjoy them,” he remarked.

The National Chairman of the ADC urged the government to do more to lessen the suffering of its people. He called on the government to deal with concerns of foreign exchange, corruption, and inflation.

He asserts that Nigeria needs to adjust its foreign exchange policy to combat inflation because it is an import-dependent nation.

Therefore, it is expected that this government will accomplish more than it now does. In actuality, the nation’s current inflation rate is excessively high.

Since corruption exists, the government ought to address the problem. Direct action should be taken by the government to guarantee that the cost of transportation is covered.

“The exchange rate is another issue that the government needs to solve. It also has a significant impact on inflation. Because Nigeria imports a lot, the value of the naira is quite important, so we are requesting that the government take a look at this,” he said.
