Tragic Crash Claims Groom and Bride’s Sister Just 30 Minutes Before Wedding

A tragedy recently occurred in the Boto region of the Tafawa Balewa local government area of Bauchi State after the deaths of the bride’s older sister, Maryam Sulieman, and groom, Abba Musa, around half an hour prior to the wedding ceremony.
It was recognized that a car accident claimed the lives of both people.
The family and the community as a whole are in a state of profound shock and despair as a result of the situation.
According to an eyewitness, the tragedy happened as the victims were traveling from Murno, a town located roughly 5 kilometers from Boto, to the event.
In an interview with Leadership, the groom’s brother Saminu Boto called the occurrence “an unimaginable loss that has thrown everyone into deep shock.”
“The loss is unfathomable. He stated, “The whole community is in mourning.” The victims’ families are in a state of extreme shock, with friends and family finding it difficult to accept the unexpected loss.
He claimed that after the terrible catastrophe, the family home—which had been a hub for preparations—had become a place of sobs and cries, drowning the bride, Raihanatu Suleiman, and the whole family in grief.

“Many residents have referred to the dual tragedy as one of the saddest days in recent memory, casting a shadow over the community,” Boto said.
It is believed that soon after the accident, the bodies were buried in accordance with Islamic customs.
