Giwa’s Prediction for Nigeria’s Comeback But Not Under Tinubu

The current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been accused of undermining Nigerians’ optimism that the country’s economy will improve.
This was said by Adewale Giwa, senior pastor of the Second Coming of Christ’s Ministry, during a sermon on Sunday at his Akure church.
He said that the nation’s prophets have contributed to its socioeconomic problems by selling their supernatural gifts to unbelievers for cash.
Giwa pointed out that voters erred by removing former President Goodluck Jonathan from office due to what he called the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) dishonesty.
Since the APC came to power, he claimed, the country’s economy has been in severe crisis.
Giwa stated: “To pray for Nigeria, I got up at precisely 1 p.m. this morning.” I prayed and asked God, “Do we still have prophets in Nigeria?”
“As you are aware, I am a pastor, not a prophet. While a prophet is a seer who communicates God’s thinking, a pastor is a shepherd who leads and looks after a flock while concentrating on teaching. A prophet can also be characterized as God’s spokesperson.
The adversary has placed a false Spirit in the mouths of some of our prophets, the Spirit of the Lord informed me. In other words, simply as Esau sold his birthright to his younger brother Jacob for soup, they have sold the gift of prophecy to unbelievers in return for cash. Thus, the Lord claimed that he had abandoned them to mislead Nigeria.
Politics is complex, and there aren’t many politicians that genuinely care about the general public. Voting us out was a mistake, Dr. Jonathan, good luck. The APC presented itself as an angel, oblivious to the fact that they were going to bring poverty to Nigeria. Am I suggesting Jonathan should return? No.

In the meantime, I firmly believe that Nigeria will rise once more, but not under the current leadership. Things have gotten worse since the APC assumed power in 2015.
The pioneering cleric promised Nigerians that someone would come from among the nation’s minority ethnic groups to save the country’s economy from impending collapse.
He claimed that APC has sabotaged the opposition’s chances in the 2023 general elections by using Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the previous general elections.
Giwa also warned Nigerians that it would be difficult to predict if Obi would continue to play the same part in the 2027 presidential election.
“Many of you might be familiar with a man named Peter Obi,” he continued. In 2023 I was the first to call him a pretender. I stuck out from the crowd and trusted my gut even when some flesh-and-blooded men of God backed him.
Let me state this: He is not a serious politician. Like he did in the 2023 presidential race, the individual is currently cashing out. God knows him better than he knows himself, a fact that his fans find difficult to accept. His goal is to complete tasks on the gold platter.
In 2023, he helped the ruling party split some votes. If they utilize him again, only time will tell. Tinubu should remain president of Nigeria for another four years instead of Peter Obi. Obi’s presidency will bring selfishness, nepotism, and tribalism.
“This time around, someone from the minority ethnic group that the Lord intends to use to restructure the nation is coming.”
