He said, “It was a privilege to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the flag-off of the 65-kilometer, three-lane dual carriageway in Nsit Atai, which is a portion of the ambitious 750-kilometer Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, yesterday (Tuesday).” I want to express my gratitude to the president for this ambitious and inspiring endeavor. Akwa Ibom, a coastal state, is appreciative of the opportunity to benefit from this transformative infrastructure. This road will increase interstate commerce, link previously unreachable communities, open up enormous economic opportunities, and generate jobs for our citizens. While promising that compensation will be given as soon as the federal government releases cash, I asked our young people to keep calm and assist the contractors.
“In order to guarantee the timely completion of this project, our administration will keep assisting the federal government. The hand that began this work must complete it, so we firmly support President Tinubu. May God give him the fortitude to realize this lofty goal. May Akwa Ibom State be blessed.
