Grammy: Tems Beats Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy to Win Best African Performance – Davido Reacts

Afrobeat musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has congratulated his colleague Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, on her victory at the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday for Best African Music Performance.
According to reports, Tems won the award for her song “Love Me JeJe.”
In a post on his X profile on Monday, Davido expressed his pride in Tems after the singer’s triumph at the music award ceremony.
“Congratulations to my one and only!” he wrote. @chrisbrown And we are proud of you, Queen @temsbaby.

Tems, meanwhile, has been putting out successful tracks since 2020, working with Beyoncé, Drake, and Rihanna on her recordings.
She was the most nominated African act this year, with nominations in three different categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Global Music Album, and Best R&B Song.
One of the singer’s best-known songs from her 2024 first studio album, “Born in the Wild,” is “Love me jeje.”
