Hon. Ashara Rallies Igbo Support for APC During Community Dinner

It was a remarkable gathering of influential figures from Amuwo Odofin and beyond, hosted by the Vice Chairman of the Amuwo Odofin local government area in Lagos State, Hon. Maureen Chika Ashara, on July 5, 2025. The event brought together stakeholders, industry leaders, community representatives, youth advocates, women, and political office holders to engage in meaningful discussions about the importance of voting for her party in the upcoming Lagos State local government election, scheduled for July 12, 2025.

Hon. Ashara, a candidate for vice chairmanship, passionately made her case to her fellow Igbo community members, highlighting several compelling reasons why the Igbo people residing in Amuwo Odofin and Lagos State should reconsider their voting choices and support the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming elections. She also outlined the numerous benefits that could come from this shift.

Additionally, Chief Nixon Okawara, a prominent member of the party, echoed her sentiments, urging his brothers and sisters to vote for the APC and encouraging them to spread the word to their neighbors, friends, and family.

The event also saw representation from various Igbo groups, including the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Amuwo Odofin local government area chapter, Igbo in APC, Igbo Dum, and leaders from the auto spare parts sector, among others. The chiefs and eze’s were also present, making it a truly unique gathering.
