“I Helped Bury Your Mother” – Kwam1 Calls Out Kollington for Not Returning Favour

The well-known Nigerian artist Kwam1, whose real name is Wasiu Ayinde, has criticized his mentor and senior colleague Ayinla Kollington for failing to return his benevolent gift.

In keeping with Islamic customs, Kwam1’s mother was buried on January 18, 2025, the day she passed away.

But in an interview with Agbaletu Radio’s On-Air Personality (OAP) Bamidele Adeyanju, Kwam1 vented his rage by recounting how he supported Kollington after his mother passed away and took care of all the money.
He was disappointed and accused Kollington of giving him a lousy return.

“I’m really upset with Alhaji Kollington for not getting in touch or sending condolences when I lost my mother,” Kwam1 stated. He and I worked together to bury his own mother. I encouraged him to bury his mother properly. I was in complete control of the funds and brought a number of dignitaries, including governors, to the funeral.

“Observe how he reimbursed me. After all that I had done for him, what might have happened? When my mother died, he was alive and well in Nigeria, and the only explanation he had was that I didn’t answer his phone. Is it improper for me to feel angry?
