Isibor to Oshiomhole: You Can’t Claim Ignorance of Illegal Gold Mining in Your Backyard

Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, a former Edo State Commissioner for Digital Economy, Science, and Technology, has blasted Adams Oshiomhole for failing to stop illicit mining in his area.
According to reports, retired generals were responsible for the unlawful mining operations that were depleting the country’s economy and harming the environment, according to the former governor of Education.
Isibor charged that despite being a senator and former governor, Oshiomhole had ignored the illicit gold mining operations “in his backyard.”

The Senate Committee on Interior Chairman was urged by the previous governor Godwin Obaseki’s Commissioner to deal with illicit gold mining in his residence.

It’s hard for me to listen to him objectively,” Ifaluyi-Isibor said in a post on his X account on Wednesday. There is always a twist to his words, even when they seem to be candid. He has shown himself to be unstable, perverted, and deceitful over the years.

He speaks with such eloquence (and I give him credit for that), but he easily forgets what he said yesterday or the expectations he established. He also has a tendency to mumble and juggle words loudly in an attempt to fascinate and mesmerize others, but his main goal is usually dishonesty.

“Speaks with conviction, no question, but we can see through the pretense and opulence.”

I agree with him in part, but please let Sen. Adams Oshiomole know that illegal gold and other resource mining is occurring in his own “backyard.”

“He can’t tell the world that he doesn’t know, or aren’t others profiting billions from it as well?
